Red Bull driver Max Verstappen has triumphed today at the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix, the seventh race of this year’s Formula 1 championship.

The Dutchman claimed his third victory at the „Enzo and Dino Ferrari“ circuit in Imola, and his fifth win of the season, marking the 59th triumph of his career, as reported by Sport Klub.

Verstappen was closely followed by Lando Norris in McLaren, who provided a thrilling finish, with only a second separating the two at the finish line. Charles Leclerc from Ferrari secured the third spot on the podium.

Verstappen currently leads the driver’s standings with 136 points, ahead of his teammate Sergio Perez with 103 points, while Leclerc sits in third with 98 points.

The next race is the Monaco Grand Prix, which will take place on the streets of Monte Carlo on May 28th.
