Milos Jovanovic, lider post-election cooperation, once again pleaded with tycoon Dragan Djilas, head of the so-called „Serbia Against Violence“ list, to take him as a coalition partner.

Jovanovic told the tycoon’s N1 television that internal affairs of Serbia are not the responsibility of the European Parliament or any other parliament other than the Serbian, ie, the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia.

„In that sense, the activities of the European Parliament are not a topic for us, let alone a reference point. In addition, I do not think that holding constituent sessions, which must definitely be convened, is a particularly important topic. Especially since nothing epochal can happen at them. The only important thing will be to see if there is a majority in the Belgrade City Assembly to form a new city government or not. I think that it is much more important for the opposition to define directions of action, potential actions and an overall strategy in the face of events that await us, primarily in Belgrade,“ Jovanovic said, once again proving, despite the fact that he presents himself as a great „patriot“, that he is ready for a coalition with those who would recognize „Kosovo“, abolish the Republic of Srpska, and impose sanctions on Russia.

The constituent session of the Serbian Parliament is scheduled for Tuesday, February 6. The „Serbia Against Violence“ coalition requested that the session be scheduled after the vote on the resolution on elections in Serbia in the European Parliament, which is scheduled for February 8. However, their plan failed, so they were furious.

The Republican Electoral Commission (RIK) adopted a report on the elections for members of the National Assembly of Serbia today, which, according to RIK President Vladimir Dimitrijevic, is the obligation of this commission, after which the constituent session of the republic’s parliament can be scheduled.
