Telekom Srbija Group, a leader in the field of telecommunications in Southeast Europe, continues to expand its business in Europe. At a ceremony organized to mark the opening of branches in Mönchengladbach and Düsseldorf, the CEO of Telekom Serbia, Vladimir Lučić, and the CEO of MTEL Germany, Stefan Božić, cut the ribbon symbolically opening the new sales point of MTEL Germany, marking another significant step in expanding the company’s business in major European markets.
MTEL Germany offers unique mobile telecommunications services (prepaid and postpaid) and television services to its customers at its newly opened sales points, designed to meet all the needs of modern users at a very competitive price and with special benefits. „After Austria and Switzerland, where MTEL has been successfully operating for years, the German market was the next logical step. We have made a unique service attractive to all residents of Germany, especially considering the numerous diaspora from the former Yugoslavia living here, but also diaspora from other countries,“ highlighted Telekom Serbia’s CEO, Vladimir Lučić, and added: „Our expectations in the German market are great, primarily considering the quality of services we offer to users, which would not be possible without the excellent cooperation with our partners from Vodafone, whom I would like to thank on this occasion. These are two new sales points, and by the end of the year, there will be a total of 30 of them across Germany, and I would invite all interested parties to visit our branches, see the quality of services, and become our customers.“
Speaking about the cooperation between Vodafone and MTEL Germany, Vodafone’s technical director, Tanja Rihter, stated: „We look forward to the cooperation. MTEL users gain access to the mobile internet highway that provides high data transmission speeds and enough capacity for digital everyday life. Thanks to the constant expansion of the network, Vodafone’s LTE network is available to more than 99% of people.“ The carefully crafted offer for users living and working in Germany, originally from our regions, is marked by the German quality they are accustomed to but also offers many benefits that bring better connectivity with their homeland.
„In the field of mobile telephony, it is important to emphasize that MTEL Germany users will not change their existing number, and by becoming part of the unique MTEL zone, calls to family and friends in MTEL networks in Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, North Macedonia, as well as the mts network in Serbia, will be free within the selected package,“ stated MTEL Germany’s CEO, Stefan Božić. Talking about the television content offer of MTEL television, Božić added: „Our offer is characterized by quality and diversity. The most-watched channels from the former Yugoslavia region, the best sports and the most attractive series and films in a language we all understand. Also, customer support is in our language, which makes communication easier for many users,“ Božić concluded.
In addition to the branches in Düsseldorf and Mönchengladbach, MTEL Germany has also opened a sales point in Munich, and the opening of a branch in Bochum is expected soon. Furthermore, MTEL Germany’s services are available through the website www.mtelgermany.de/sr and through a network of distributors such as Lekerland, which includes German Post, most of the gas stations (OMW, ENI), and a large number of kiosks/newsstands throughout the country.
